Dr. John Haines
Professor of Health Sciences
Dr. John Haines is a professor of Anatomy and Physiology at Weimar College. Holding a PhD in Public Health, Dr. Haines is a two time graduate of Loma Linda University who began work at The North Kern Medical Group in California. He was Chief of Laboratory Services at Weld County General Hospital in Colorado, Cumberland Medical Group in Tennessee, and also The Tempe Community Hospital in Arizona. He was also involved in forensic medicine with the coroners offices in both Colorado and Arizona. He began the medical technology training program at Andrews Memorial Hospital in Kingston, Jamaica for West Indies University. He was also on the faculty of Loma Linda University and supervisor of the Immunology and the Oncology Laboratories at Loma Linda University Medical Center. He is currently a Certified Radiological and Clinical Laboratory Scientist for The State of California and a member of The American Society for Clinical Pathology. Dr. Haines is known for being tough in the classroom but he is also soft-hearted and well loved by students.
