Recreational Opportunities

When the four walls of the classroom start to get old, there is nothing better than getting out into nature. The exercise that recreation affords is extremely necessary to the life of any person, but especially to the life of a student. Fresh air and laughter clears the mind and prepares one for another day of studies. 

 

The area surrounding Weimar College has many recreational opportunities ranging from skiing, rock climbing, backpacking and white water rafting. Without even leaving the campus you have access to miles of trails that wind through the school's acres of forest and meadows. Whether skiing at Boreal or walking on one of Weimar's trails you will get a picture of God in nature that will sustain and uplift your spirit.
